Greetings everyone,
I'm new to photography and after some research, settled on the NX300. I just got the camera the other day and I really like it so far.
Anyways, prior to getting this camera, I almost got a Canon t5i. I was set on getting a speedlite flash for the flash bounce effect. I was reading a review (HERE) and was impressed how it eliminated/reduced shadows behind a person standing in front of a wall indoors.
I did see a thread on DPReviews about using a JJC Off-camera flash cord with the stock flash that comes with the NX300. If I bought this cord from eBay (from China), will it work in a similar manner to a speedlite's vertical bounce if I point the flash up? Or is there some special timing or what not built in to external flash systems like speedlites?
Thanks.
