Here's two shoots from my last time playing around with water and raspberry syrup ;D I thing these were my first shots with sb-700 too...

Here is the pic of the setup... the flash however was placed behind the bowl, facing the cardboard... then i put a small bag with water , made a small hole in it and just let it drop in the bowl.. thats all i did... you need a lot of patience to get such a shot.. I took over 100 pics and actually maybe 5 of them looked good.

First of all - great shots. Love the red in the drops against the grey (is it gray or grey? So confusing ...)

I think the composition would be much stronger if you straightened these out - particularly #2, but 1 is crooked too.
All that work for your set up and you leave a crooked shot.

Very nicely done, I keep meaning to try this. 2 is my favorite. I love the swirling color in the drop. It makes me think of a swirling crystal orb using an unseen forces to move the water. Don't know why it makes me think of that, I'm just strange that way. :mrgreen:
