My boy to be exact and he really is a character and so wonderful to take photos of. None of these are edited because I am not that good at editing and *blush* I don't have any good programs for it.

What a cutie (I'm not good at editing either. If you don't have picassa, you might want to try it. It actually does a pretty decent job for very basic editing)

I love the first! Really nice focus and light on him. It is underexposed though. I brought it up +.60

The first is probably the best.
For the second you could have panned to the left and avoided the distracting window drawing attention away.
For the third it looks a little 'wonky' because you weren't quite shooting straight on with the wall and it looks like you missed focus a little bit.

this really does bring out the color of his eyes more. any way of giving me ideas of how to make it look more like that in the future?

And thebase, yeah the others weren't my best, but i was using a manual focus only lense *auto motor in it was not working because... /shrug, it is a handmedown and i did the best I could* I did want the staircase in there, unfortunately i would have had the window in it no matter what so you win some and lose some I took my chances.
