I had a fun maternity session with a super sweet couple. I shifted my lighting around in my studio to try a few new things (I'm really into playing with my lighting right now) and this is one of my favorites.

I think your key is a touch hot; you've lost some skin detail and the black is a little watery, but it's a nice composition.

What do you mean when you say the "black is a little watery"?

Yes, I agree that the key light looks a little hot, but I think my black and white conversion murdered the skin detail too. lol
