snerd, I can see that you totally did not read or ignored the warning signs that are posted EVERYWHERE at the refuge. Buffalo and Long Horn cattle are wild animals and are very dangerous Nice shot.

Heh! I stay within a foot or two of the car on most longhorn or bison shots. There were a TON of new calves this year and mama's are more jittery than I've seen in a long time. What's sickening is the bloody tourists walking 100 feet or more out into a field........ with small children in tow! Idiots!!

A full grown Bison can do some serious damage to an automobile. A full grown moose or grizzly, even more damage. Being inside or close to the car isn't necessarily a safety net. Any one who's been to Gibraltar will attest to the strength of the baboons which abound. Saw one rip the door completely off a Volkswagen to get to the food inside. I also saw a mama moose up in Canada squish a Kia like a coke can, seriously injuring the two adults in the car.

I see this as support for Darwin's theory; thus ridding the world of a few more stupid (or just ignorant-though the outcome remains the same) people.

Some 20 years ago Toronto Sun (daily paper) was giving awards (postmortem of course) to all those, who removed theirs stupidity genes by themselves from humankind pool of genes. There was a guy squashed to death by coca machine while trying to yank out a "free" can of pop and guy from Arizona, who strapped a JATO ( or maybe it was RATO) booster to his car to see, what will happen.
On Animal channel is a show about drivers and moose in Newfoundland. A specific place with an average of 800 collisions a year.

On the other hand "no guts, no glory". Picture is very peaceful, nothing indicates any danger. It's a very nice piece of landscape, the only thing I would ask you is about not very dynamic contrast.
