Just got my first roll of film processed so I figured it's about time I posted a photo...the composition and focus is cringe worthy but I guess that's just part of the learning process.

Consider this; next time you have something like this, gently move the extra stems away, and isolate the top three blossoms. Blur the background as much as you can. Arrange your frame to make the flowers balanced in the frame.

I can easily envision a "tall", three-flower composition made from this shot's three main actors!!! Or, perhaps ONE, single flower, with a few background "extras" lurking behind the star of the main scene!

And although the shot's composition is not that great, the exposure seems pretty good, and the subject matter is pretty clearly defined and unambiguous!
