Hello folks,

my name is Mike, I have a couple digital cameras and I enjoy taking photos of things I personally find interesting for whatever reason, sometimes I don't have a clue why, so the "just because it's there" line is my excuse.

I'm interested in learning about the disciplines of photography and maybe develop something that resembles some actual skills.

First of all, welcome!

that link took me to the picasa startup page. you need to go to your picasa and link to the public albums.

Or better yet, copy and paste the images into your post.

Sorry about that, I selected the link for my picasa account instead of the one for my photo share. I've edited my post and replaced the wrong link with the correct one. --- Mike

i would suggest you embed your fav 3 or 4 images in here, you'll get more replies that way

I either missed it or did not find anything about posting links to one's personal online photo hosting site gallery in the rules and I do respect a website's right to operate it their own way.

I have found another photography site\forum that allows these type of links, which is more compatible with my own needs and preferences, so I will clean up what I have done here move on to that one.
