Too centred you might say & I would agree. However, this was the only way I could avoid a lens flair as you see here:

while it looks good like that on streetlights, for some reason I don't like it on that sun. Pretty picture otherwise actually gorgeous. That sun cross is a kind of annoying though...

I like them both Ron. I think most people would look at the second and just think it was a reflection of the sun on the water.

Hey Ron, I guess I'm just too traditional. I'd really like the first without the Sunburst. Nice comp and exposure. The sunburst is just a personal thing

I would agree the 4pt star effect is not appropriate for a sunrise/set but it was just an experiment to see what it looked like.

....yeah,much better without the starburst (IMO).
