You've got some decent gear there. Dated, to be sure, but certainly usable and reliable. If you're interested in the craft, it makes for a fantastic starter kit to cut your teeth with.

That 70-300 lens is a nice piece, more than likely worth more than the cameras.

Info on the D80....... Nikon D80

Not bad for free. The D80 is dated but, still a decent camera. I guess my question is, what do you want to do with it? Use it? Sell it?

Looks well taken care of. If you or someone else wants to use it, charge the battery up and check it out. Batteries do go bad and may have to buy a new one, though. The lenses you have are perfect to get started. The 70-300mm is a great beginner lens for birds and wildlife. Here's a link to the manual PDF if you want familiarize yourself with it.

The D80 will give you a nice film like look. You will be surprised by the image quality and character it renders in good light. As Sparky said, nice to cut your teeth with. It's everything you need to get started. Nice it has a flash for those low light situations. Have at it!

Thanks guys, not really sure to do with them if I'm honest I don't think they would be something I would use as far to big to take travelling with you and frightened id break a lens, but thanks for all your help guys

They did not cost you
So play with the kit for a time, if after a decent time you still feel it’s not for you sale the kit
You can put it for sale on this forum buy and sale thread
You are on what some call a win win
