Just got my 2x Extender. Also, THE MOON

I just bought a Canon 2x Extender for a steal off of Craigslist, or atleast I think it was. It was $150. It was a whim, because I'm taking Astronomy and I want to be able to take photos of the moon.

I know mage quality suffers, and autofocus doesn't work on any of my cameras, but with tripod in hand, it gets decent photos.

which lens did you use, 1D will auto focus a F6.3 lens so if it was on your 70-200 it should auto focus

I think the 1D will AF to f8, but I was using my 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6, so at the long end the lowest f-stop I could use was f11.
