Lol, i find it hard to believe you get better results with a 3k and 6k camera j/k.. I'm not expecting much.. more of a play toy...

Don't get me wrong, I like the Nikon 1 V2 for what it's good at... just the FT-1 was a bit of a letdown.

Which sigma 120-300 do you have? I think I saw someplace it probably wont work with my OS version...

It won't..doesn't matter which version (I said I *tried* it..). I can only use the FT on my Nikon lenses (I haven't tried my other two sigmas yet).
I don't know when it happened, or why, but I can't use a Nikon TC or the FT w/ current Sigmas, and I can't get good results using sigma TC's on my Nikon lenses... some combinations "try" to work, but it's completely unusable...it makes no sense to me...

You can rent the FT-1 from places like BorrowLenses for ~$36 for 10 days...
