I like #1...looks a LOT like Matt K's Lightroom present called "Ultimate Fighter", or what smoke calls "MMA toning".

I use Ultimate Fighter a lot, and then often convert that UF-tweaked image to a monochrome/B&W rendering.

Thank you. I just played around for something a little different than the first. But the wrestler preferred the second (his shots his choice) but wondering if this is something I should keep in my bag for others.
