This is a pic I took with my point and shoot. I know its nothing special, but I just want to hear what people have to say from a photographer's POV. Where would you begin editing? How? Speak in terms I can understand...remember, I'm a newbie!!

Well it depends on what you are using. For Photoshop/CS I would do some levels, brightness/contrast and, then maybe tweaking the colors some. If Im doing major adjustments Im not usually working on jpegs. Also Im not sure you got the tilt in there purposely or, not. I know some like it and, some dont. If the tilt wasnt you can use the cropping tool and, run it just inside the photo and rotate it to straighten it. Oh and I played with it some for a quickie example.
