Hello all...I've been sifting through the site and I love it... thought I'de throw my introductory post out there and tell you all a bit about myself... I am 26 years old, born and raised in St. Louis, I have had my Nikon D40x for roughly 4 years now and have been steadily gaining expirience with it... I dont have photoshop or any similar program for editing so i just use the picasa program that came with my comp.
I enjoy taking pictures of wildlife as well as landscapes, long exposure shots, weather photography, and starscapes just to name a few... 2012 Seemed to be the year that i really started to "come out of my shell" photographically speaking so now i find myself on a quest for as much knowledge as i can retain on the subject, which brought me to this awesome site you all have here.
i am currently working on getting a "best of" album together that i'll post in here later on today for you all to see and hopefully critique.

Tis later in the day now, time for a photo dump... these are my more recent photos (2012-13), kinda too lazy to look through the thousands of pics i have... these were taken with the 18-55mm base lense that came with my d40x, an 80-200mm macro nikon lens from the 1970's, and a nikon 50mm prime lens also from the 70's
