Juvenile Bald Eagle

[bulldurham34]

Yesterday, I lamented the poor pickings for eagles in my area and lo and behold this morning, the first capture was of this juvenile. He was pretty accomodating up to about 30 feet before getting a bad case of the jitters and took off deeper into the woods.

Such beautiful birds! Really nice shots.

Especially number 3, nicely done.

[baturn]

Really nice! I especially like #2, right after take-off.

[John Hunt]

Nice captures. I agree #2 is best.

[annamaria]

Nice shots, my fav is number 2 and 3. Beautiful bird.

[Mattis]

Those are really cool! Makes me jealous that you have eagles just flying around where you live...
Anyway, it's hard for me to pick a favorite. But I really like #2 and #3, I love shots of birds landing and taking off!

[BillM]

Beautiful series of shots, lovin that third one

[C. Brian Kerr]

Great series. Love 2 and 3 but 3 wins for me
