For a while, I thought I was alone in the Pentax camp...
I'm a Canon shooter but I didn't like the Digital rebels and would recommend moving up to the 30D. From what I can tell from this thread and previous threads, the Nikonians pretty much don't like the D40 and would rather recommend moving up to a D70 or D80.
Bang for buck, you can't beat the Pentax K10D at the moment for $700 USD (body only). Image stabilized, complete backwards compatibilty with 30 years of Kmounts, weather sealed body, REAL pentaprism view finder, etc... The K100D is a similar bargain too...
antoine... there is no need to post specs... we are all connected to the internet and can look them up. For those who recently joined our community, there was a thread on discussing the D40/D40x... I already searched it down for yah (wasn't easy to find for some reason)
