That's why I like golf, enjoying nature. I try to spend as little time as possible on the fairways.

Actually I remember when I was in Nanaimo years ago there was a news story about a mountain lion walking down one of the fairways! Now that's a real hazard

I've encountered large gators, a few water moccasins (yeah I've been in a few water hazards), and copperheads (in the trees), a couple of black bears, lots of deer, and a few "two legged" cougars but none of the four legged kind thankfully on courses I've played over the years.

Man that golf is a dangerous game! You got to watch out for those "two legged" cougars.
