Kauai for C&C

Hi, i'm new here, and I don't have many friends that can give me advice on taking shots and processing them to look as good as they can get. I took a whole bunch of pictures in Kauai, and I did some processing on them, but I don't know if I'm doing them justice or not.

The third one is easily the best. The others don't really do much for me. But the colors in the third are beautiful.

#3 greeaaat color, exposure, and framing. A wonderful shot. #1 fails because the 'subject' becomes the boat, but its too far away. #2 fails because the 'subject' becomes the lighthouse, same reason.

Thanks, these were literally some of the first pictures I've taken. The one that everyone here seems to agree on is my favorite from that entire trip, out of about 1200 pictures. Funny part is that one was one I just snapped as I was walking away from the cliffs.
I have another lighthouse picture with a slightly different angle, I get what you're saying about the subject being to far away. This one might still be too far away, but might be better
