Taken on the Hawaiian island of Kau'ai during the continental winter 2012-2013. Used a Canon T2i with a 28-300mm adjustable travel lens.
Resized to 1080p from ~5280p RAWs, just ask if you want the fullsized images :) Open for any and all critique! The pictures are intended to be desktop backgrounds.

Note that some images were rotated, resized and/or cropped post-capture to adjust them for desktop resolutions and aspect ratios.
Horizons were also lined up horizontally... Usually.

Looks like a fun trip. I love Hawaii, and would love the opportunity to take some photos out there.

I see 1 pic I like, it's the lighthouse. I think it's your best shot.
I don't care for the aerial shots, maybe because I see them everyday...they're just not that interesting. There is a lot of haze you're shooting through, and in some, you can see window reflections.

I admit the aerial shots aren't my best. In the quest to get a good angle and avoid lens flare I ended up photographing my own reflection more than once. It didn't help that I was flying, either.

some nice shots in there, a little hazy and they could do with a bit of a bump in contrast

Don't mean to necro a week-old thread but I will be adding to this album soon and appreciate all the advice I can get.
