great pic....is the grain intentional? and I think it would be great if you upped the saturation and cropped.

Great shot though, birds are hard to get...

It was shot on 400ASA/ISO film on a CanonEOS 1000fn with a 28-135mm Sigma lens then scanned at 6000dpi. We'd gone out and it was pretty much over cast. I chose the 400 as it was overcast but about 20 mins after this shot we has glorious sunshine. It's cropped anyway but I could go in a little more but I liked the wood grain with a wood pidgeon

Nice shot. The wood grain and the eye really draws the attention as well as good dof.

I think a person should say when it is shoot with film as the quality is not as easily attended on the computer screen as a digital image. People will appreaciate the picture more. My .$0.02 worth.
