here's an edit I made to add a bit more contrast in places:


I used silver efex pro 2 for the edits as well. Getting a hang of the control points is really the key with that program.

I like the edit as well. I don't know why when I do go B&W, especially on people, I always opt for a little less contrast. On intimate objects i like more contrast, it's just people I can't seem to like it. :/

BTW I'm really liking the nik software, may just buy it when trial period ends, any thoughts on that?

One of the best deals in photo software there is, IMHO.

I was looking just now ... and I guess this is a google thing, but you have to sign in, and hand over a credit card number just to find out how much the *&^%-ing thing is!

It's $149

Keep in mind that includes the full suite. Which is my favorite noise reduction program, my favorite sharpener, my favorite desktop based film sim and the other stuff is top notch too. The HDR program is on par with anything else, and those alone typically cost $149 themselves.

Yea I know!!! I've only had the occasion to use color efex, and silver efex. Quite alot to offer. Like you said I do really like the B&W program.!!

Besides the fact that Matt is pleasing to the eye, the composition and contrast here is excellent! Very well done
