I snuck my camera (ok, it was just in the diaper bag) in with me to target and took this shot of my son doing a little grocery shopping with me.

I was going for a "lifestyle" shot. CC appreciated!

I like it. Would have been cool to take the picture on the baby food aisle, or candy aisle (Titled "Like Stealing Candy From A Baby." Haha

I like it, too. I'm sure it has technical flaws but the concept is fun and the execution is good: I'm taking into account that this was an impromptu shoot without banks of strobes and reflectors. How on earth did you manage to get the shot with no shoppers in the background and the floors so shiny and seemingly freshly polished? :thumbup:

Nice picture. The problem is your son gets lost in the picture as the poster behind him dominates the scene. Maybe cropping the picture down some would help put the focus where it belongs, on your son.

My first attempt was in the baby food isle, but the isles in that section aren't as long or as high than the regular grocery side... so condiments isle it was!

I went first thing in the morning on a weekday. The only people shopping that early on a weekday are stay at home moms and their babies; I blended in just fine!

The first thing I noticed once I imported the image was that damn ad right behind him! If I had more time to set up the shot I would have chosen a different isle, but I was afraid of the Target Police finding me. :mrgreen:

Good idea.
Now to make him stand out, make everything else look faded or misty.
And put him in the middle and crop the top.

I would have put him CLOSER to the poster. Kind of a "mommy surrogate" there with him. But that's just me.

My mileage varies all the time.
