John is really rolling. He should be catching up to me in a few weeks.
You learn alot there about everything about athletics - stretching, relaxation, food/health, specific routines for specific development, training, and access to alot of the upper echelon people and equipment.Mary Lou's oldest son made it onto the Olympic Development team(s), but for soccer. I remember we used to raid the cafeterias and ate a TON to make up for the thousands of calories that we were burning.
It was alot of fun.
nope .. just Colorado Springs and everything east of that. Never raced out west.You ever make it to the Velodrome in Los Angeles?
