Leica M3 dual stroke

the M3 is is a beautiful camera - the viewfinder brings up
less framelines than the newer M's. The viewfinder
magnification for the M3 is high, so it's good for a 50mm
lens or longer. For wider lenses you'll need external viewfinders.

The double stroke is a 'feature' of early M3's - the film advance
lever has to be stroked two times to cock the shutter and advance
the film.

It looks pretty good and the price is right so far, it will go up to
about $700. I would plan to spend additional $150-$200
on a CLA (clean, lubricate, adjust).

There are lots of lenses for M mount out there, also there are
adapters for LTM (Leica Thread Mount) to M - this is a great
opportunity to get started with a Leica on a budget.

M lenses are pretty pricey too...

Doxx thanks for the info
