Lens acting like a Tilt Shift???

I have a lens that seems to be acting like a TS. Obviously it's time to send it in, but anyone know what the problem may be?
Look at this image and compare head to feet:

Not sure..which lens is it? Optics a bit out of alignment ?

Now I recall it, i had a zoom lens which i dropped on concrete. I thought it was ok until I got the film back and the pictures were soft/distorted at the bottom ..like this but worse.

My guess is either elements/group has shifted or the lens doesn't mount flat to the plate evenly.

It's probably a big, greasy layer of tiny grease particles from deep-fat frying all those French fries and chicken...you've obviously wiped the middle of the lens off with a clean dishrag, but have pushed all that film to the perimeter of ye olde lense.

Just a theory... lol...

It's my 17-50. It's getting retired this year, but I can't retire it yet! I am too broke to pay attention!
