Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I have a Sony A700, and started off with the 18 70 kit lens and a Tamron 70 300 zoom (which I like, it must be a good one!).
I now have a couple more lenses from the Minolta AF range.
My question relates to the Minolta MD lenses. Are the lens adaptors any good, or as many people seem to think, do they compromise the lens quality because of the extra piece of glass in them?
Should I therefore be looking at Minolta AF lenses, or widen the scope to the old but good Rokkor MD lenses as well?
Thanks,
Andy

Don't bother with any of the old MC or MD lenses from Minolta. The adapter you need just adds another piece of glass between the sensor and the subject; and does take away from the overall sharpness of the photo. Tried it once, and tossed the adapter in the trash.

Keep looking for the Minolta AF lenses, they work like a charm and are a lot better than people give them credit for.
