Lens for Coolpix 885

I have a Nikon Coolpix 885. This camera is basically fine for most of my needs. However, I take a lot of pictures outdoors (i.e., backpacking) and would like to be able to have more zoom. Can I buy a lens to attach to this camera? If so, is it worth the money or would it made more sense to buy another camera? I am not a profession photographer and don't want anything too heavy or bulky. Thanks.
