has anyone used the lens pen and if so would you recomend it?

I have one. Wouldn't say it's a superior cleaner, but it works as good as any other cleaning solution I have tried.

The brush is useful, these days I stick to using a cloth to clean the optics, and using the pen to get things out of hard to reach places.

I carry one in my backpack. Comes in handy. I do not use the liquid cleaner that came in it, but the brush is soft.

Do NOT use this brush to clean your sensor... its good for a lens or a UV filter covering your lens, not much more.

There are no great differences in quality between them all. I tested the $45 LensPen and the rebranded $8 Nikon one... both worked identically.
