light box and inline wheel

Hi,

i have a small light box at home (80x80x80cm) and i would like to take pictures of goods for a catalog about inline skating.

i would like to take a picture of a wheel but how to make it stand ?
if i use a hook it will be visible on the picture.

did someone already solve such topic ?
if yes how did you do ?

If you use fishing line, you can easily remove it in post.

this is a good idea but how to hang it on it ?
basically at least you should see the fishing line on the front side and therefore it should change a bit the front view.
moreover, the wheel will turn and will not be stable during shooting.
or do you have a way how to use fishing line ?

I've played with the idea of wrapping a matchbox or something in nice black paper and propping it up with that too, maybe for clear wheels or something where contrast is necessary.

i was personally thinking to use plasticine like for kids... something like play-do in europe but i wasn't able to find one transparent or white/black :-(
