Light Painting

Have fun tonight trying out light painting. It was my first attempt but I had fun and I learned it is not as easy as it looks. Although it is nice to try something that does not require pricey equipment. I used 2 black backdrops, (one for a backdrop and the other to keep out light) my daughters guitar, my camera, tripod and back of glow sticks. Let me know what you think. or even show me you light paint.

Funky! It almost looks like the guitar is encased in blue fire because of the way it sort of flares at the bottom.

Thank you. I am going to try it again once I do a bit more reading on it. But I know it's mainly just trial and error.

Yeah, it took me a few tries to carve words. I had a glow stick that pulsated different colors, you know like from an amusement park?

Last time I was in a Mission doing my HDR there was a photographer using a flashlight to lightpaint wall hanging art. There's no end to the possibilities.
