Lightning & Dancing Firecrackers

2 photos from our (Clark Kent & mine) experiments last week. We inserted firecrackers into a light bulb for an experiment, which didn't fare too well. The firecrackers "jumped" from the bulb and exploded. But the mishap created the following: #1 appears (to us) like a lightning bolt strike and #2 the firecracker broke in mid-air and "danced" around during the explosion. Although the experiment failed, thought you might enjoy the results anyway. We will repeat that project later. C/C welcome & thanks for looking!

I like both pictures alot. I really didn't think of setting up experiments to shoot like this. It's a really great idea.

Thanks! When we do our projects we don't always know how they will work out. We're still working on this one. And, in case you didn't see our other recent posts, you can check out the title "Applesauce", "Orange on Fire", "Bang" (an egg being shot) & "Bulb Explosion." thanks for looking!
