I've got a Efs stm is 18-55 kit Lens and I've noticed the inner lens barrel (the physical barrel that extends when zooming) had little shake the more it's zoomed in. There is no effect on image quality, just wondering if this is common or something I should look into. Thanks.

This is one of the more-disconcerting things that modern AF lenses sometimes have, as a deliberate design character! YES! SOme of them wobble like heck--but it does not seem to affect the images. I dunno...I've experienced this over the last 15 years...the oldest lens I've seen this on is the 1990's Nikkor 28-80mm AF-D, the f/3.5~5.6 Kit Zoom from the last of the low-end Nikon film cameras....wobbly as heck...and yet VERY sharp!!!
