A friend of mine invite me to join this photo event. It's my first time to attend a event like this. Very funny~

Every photo are made by film and scan by Nikon CoolScan. The last one is the only one which modified by photoshop. I just want to make this photo more narrative and to emphasize the red riding hood. Thanks for your c&c. It's very important to me.

I don't like the quilty cape. I like the backgrounds though. The makeup also seems out of place.

I realy like all the images although in some of them she is a bit distant and nothing else going on in the image. she is in the shadow in one - I would have like it more if the light through the trees was on her.

Really neat idea, but I don't think you quite managed to capture the feel I would have hoped for... might just be me. Second one seemed closest. I think you need to work a bit on lighting and framing... not to mention getting your model to really express some feeling.

I figured it was taken with film.

I don't think the compositions are successful. I didn't get any narrative from these. They are all very static, not much of emotion or even just motion, simply a girl standing in the woods looking at somewhere.

BTW where in Taiwan is this? You can't really find good wooded area without having to go out of the ways to find them. Also, Taiwan's vegetation isn't like Europe or N.America where there's plenty of temperate trees like Pine, so I thought it will be hard to foster the European folk tale-like atmosphere with semi-tropical trees.

Me too.... I don't like that cape. For this event, I'm just a tourist so I can't change anything. I really think that this cape should be replaced with a big red cloak.

That's a good idea and I was trying to take a photo like that. But I'm not the major photographer that day. So.....

Thank you. The lighting and framing is my weakness. I'm working on these and try to improve it.

Yes. These photos was taken with film(Contax AX and Fuji RAP). The place we took these photos is in YangMing mountain where is in Taipei. Maybe the place we choose is not match the story, we should go another mountain which higher than YangMing Mountain.
