Load and Powerful

This self portrait was to depict load and powerful. What are your thoughts. I shot this at 1600 iso to get the grain and then added contrast. Would love to hear your thoughts and tips.

I read it as frightened/shock/horror.

Looks like a movie still from a low budget B&W film. Not sure the expression says 'loud,' but I like the shot itself and the attempt at grainy.

I don't like that graininess at all to be honest. The dots contrast with eachother so much that it looks like a 256 color bitmap from 1995. I'd tone down the grain a bit and try to get the contrast a little higher on yourself. Your blacks/grays are kind of washed out.

To emphasize powerful try shooting from a low angle. I like the grain but the image is slightly dark. H

Thanks guys for the comments, And yes i meant Loud. What a stupid typo on my part. I never saw frightened until Bitter pointed it out, I do see that now when I look at it.

Thanks for the tip on shouting at an upward angle to get powerful.

I like the grainy 1995 look but I will play around with it a little and see what happens. This is the first time I shot anything with this effect in mind so I probably did not get it first time.
