Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
A few months ago last September I ordered a photography lighting kit from ebay. It came with a backdrop stand, muslin fabric, some lightstands, umbrellas and 35 watt () continuous bulbs. So as soon as it came, I got to work thinking "i'm iz a photographer now"
I did a session with my baby, the lighting kit and used my old Sony dsc-h10 point and shoot.
I just came across these now on my computer... all SOOC and with my on camera flash!

I'm cringing at the overdone cheesy props.... At least my son looks adorable though :) It's crazy how far i've come.

No questions... i just think these are funny because at that time i thought they were AMAZING professional looking photos...

They're really not bad. I mean lighting wise.. yeah not so great. But you've done well to create a set, which is taking it a step further than I've done. Don't cringe.. I don't see it (the props) as overdone. I see it as a good effort and something you'd expect from an actual photo studio.

#1's a great shot despite the lighting used, and with a little post work it would definitely be good enough to print and frame.

Glad you're growing and learning

Have you edited them yet? A little but PPing could take these photos a long way

I did edit them... heres an example:

Thanks for sharing your photos with us ;)

I like the last two the most. He is smiling and having fun which makes the photos look more appealing. And also because the set up is better with the add of Johnson&Johnson products. It would make a good commercial ad for them after some minor CS5 work. :D

Thanks everyone! I guess these are not as bad as I thought? Im too critical of myself sometimes:confused:
