I realised that I haven't shared any of my portraits in quite a while. Sooo... Here are a couple of recent shots of my usual model. Grandma.

There's that lovely lady!!!! Always enjoy her portraits, she has a such a young spirit about about her.

You chose a tough clothing choice, not only is the blouse red, but it's shiny as well. Oversaturating red by itself is easy to do, adding the shine increases the chance ten fold. I've used grids and still had to flag to keep the light off the clothing folds, as well as a 7' brolly with diffusion up close. Something that also helps to smooth out the shadow transition and move light into the eye socket.

All in all, a good shot!
