Looking at photos on TPF makes me want to cry because...

I am in the same boat. I am going with a 40D but not till January or so.....Money is too tight right now so I just keep working with my P&S and thankfully it has a few settings that I can play with to get some "decent" photos with. Yes it has it limits but I found I can do more with it as I learn more and I didn't think I could......Don't underestimate the P&S...
