Looking for a Mentor

Hi,
I'm a university student studying photography.
Am looking for a mentor that could give me real honest feed back on my photographs through email or w/e.
I would greatly appreciate this as it would help me out so much towards my work.

Chris, if you post pictures here I'm sure you will get a nice variety of comments. Plus, it is always nice to have discussions about someones work. Just remember to ask specific questions so people can give appropriate C&C.
You could post your pictures here in this section or in the General Gallery.

i seem to have problems uploading to the website, When i click on to upload file its comes up with a red exclamation mark

My suggestion would be to start a flickr or photobucket account. If you have problems after that just yell and I'll help you from there. =)

Its broken, however the site gallery works without any problems at all - you can also use image hosts such as flickr to host your pics online as well; more details here:

Aye but we don't get any new ones and -- the list feels empty if it gets cleaned out.

That said most of them still reply to pms sent so whilst they are not forum active they are still student active. Though that said maybe it is time for a new pressure group to pressure some more mentors in and to weed out some of the ones that are no longer replying to pms.


However I'd need someone to round up all those new mentors

For some strange reason i wasn't getting any email confirmation that I was getting replys on this thread.

Click on the image in your flickr account
go under share
copy and paste the BBCode

You will get a lot more comments this way. You might also want to start a new thread to get some C&C since this is an old thread.
