Looking for Site Recommendations

[Super Simple]

I'm learning a tonne here, so this is a primary resource for me. But I'm also looking for shopping sites to purchase some gear.

I'm in Australia, so that makes a real difference. Consumer electronics are way overpriced here, but there are some sites that are good.

I've found one here after a neighbor told me about it:

Can anyone recommend any other sites to buy gear at?

I've tried ebay, and always fail. I bail at 50% of the retail for used gear, and it always seems to go for around 2/3rds to 3/4 or so. I just don't have that much confidence to go above 50%.

Since I only do photography personally/for fun, I'd like to keep the expenses down. But having worked in IT and publishing, I've been spoiled with professional tools, so it's a real fight to battle my gear-lust.

Any site recommendations are welcome.

look for used stuff. you can generally get great stuff for good discounts
