Lunenburg Waterfront "Paintings"

I thought I would try something a little different when processing these images. My goal was to create something that looked more like a painting than a photograph--and I thought it was an appropriate treatment given the subject matter. Besides, the light wasn't very good--so this is the only way I might be able to salvage a few from the shoot.

Not sure if they look like paintings, but I tend to agree with jcdeboever that they look like Postcards. Regardless, they look like very interesting cityscapes.

I was going for a watercolor look. But, perhaps there's just a bit too much detail for that. Thanks for commenting.

I like the look you got out of these. They do remind me of paintings - those certain ones that you always see in the beach town galleries. I really like #6.

I really like the images and I think they would make fantastic prints. Interesting, engaging, and - I think - very, very sellable at a shop on the waterfront.

Glenn, the first thing I thought of when I saw these, is that they would make a great calendar! I like the effect.

Thanks everyone...and some great ideas! I need to start selling these in one of the waterfront galleries...and create calendars as well! In another forum, someone suggested making jigsaw puzzles! I'm glad everyone seem to enjoy the images...at first I thought they might be way over the top.
