I have no idea, haha.

I'm just a member there among 12 other photographers.

The owner already had it built and ready to go by the time I joined up.

I like both but the second is especially good.

I think it's partly because there's more light on the background.

Emily, you are coming out with some awesome work lately. I always look forward to seeing your posts.

In true Forkie style, I completely disagree with the majority here and LOVE the 3rd set with the ring light. I adore the white light it gives off - it makes your model pop a mile off the background and the fall off is to die for. The reflection of the ring light gives a "wild" feel to your model and I must now get one for myself.

The colouring you went for after your previous post asking about the colouring, is beautiful. This is really excellent work.

I love the other 2 sets too, these shots are right up my street of the type of portrait and fashion work I like. I know it sounds like I'm just blowing smoke up your arse, but these are some of the best shots I've seen in this forum for a long while.

If you keep producing work of this quality, I'm sure you will go a long way. Congratulations.

Emily, I'll admit to being one of those that at first thought the first couple were dark but as I kept going and saw the others, knew that you had to have done it on purpose. Nice groups of images.

I like the ring light catch lights in the eyes.

Although, I can't say I hate this one thus far... but then again, I haven't tried to upload a file yet so... we'll see...

My problem with the makeovers is that each new bell or whistle that is added slows my viewing down. Out here beyond the black stump broadband speeds are pretty awful. This new(ish) photo viewer thing sometimes takes a minute to open a photo, even during the daytime before the kids get home from school. After 4pm I may as well shut down and read a book.

It seriously impinges on my ability to follow posts and view images.

I don't mind the darkness on the first ones.
Love set 2 (baaa baaaa!)

The ringlight shots are too small for me to see the catchlights properly but it looks to me like you done good with them; some I've seen look totally weird and spooky.
