Makinon lenses

What do you think of Makinon lenses, ie. quality, reliability, etc.? I haven't heard of that name and just wanted so opinions!

Just like any other lens, you will find good and bad ones. I have a Makinon lens for my older manual Canon and it's great.

If you can get it with a return policy or try it first, that would be best.
