Maternity Photo

I have been taking photos for about 6 months for free... I am trying to learn composition and better posing. Here is one from a maternity session I did last night that I really liked. Any feedback would be super helpful. Thanks! Shot on my Canon 50D with 70-200mm lens f/2.8, 1/250 ISO 160

Too much flare/sun coming thru the trees, and more than enough space around them. If this is maternity then she probably wants her baby bump to show, but with the black against black I can't tell. If they wanted those shirts with printing I'd think about how to pose them so that is readable, and so it shows that this is a maternity photo.

it's a small pic but I agree, the flare is distracting
