Maternity shot I did recently

My only comments are that I'm not sure I **love** the setting, and they seem a bit dark, but otherwise, fine.

It looks like he did use ocf. They look underexposed to me. I would have lowered the flash power and used a lot more ambient light, the background looks too dark.

Yeah. The dark heavy background gives the photos a dark heavy feel, pretty much the polar opposite to what you want in a maternity shoot. The subject lighting is decent, a light fill light from camera right would have softend some of the shadowing. Was this the only location for your shoot?p!nK

Yeah I agree with others they look underexposed and I believe the background really takes away from what you are trying to show. I would like to see #3 with just the mom in the pic with her looking toward the camera and a tighter crop . But I do like that you went outside the box with these I just dont think it worked...

Thanks for the feedback. I did use OCF. The background wasn't the greatest so I set my settings to underexpose it and used my flash to expose my subject so it didn't distract. I guess that came back to bite me.
