[Over Exposed]

I used a homemade diffusion panel with a White Lightning Ultra600 behind the panel and a White Lightning X1600 with a 22" beauty dish lighting her from the front.

nice shot. My one critique would be how the light falls off toward her midsection.

Really nice shot. My only gripe is also how the light falls off at her midsection. The coat seems to get very dark toned there.

Good call both of you, it's definitely quite noticable.

It's too bright on her face...looks like you tried to recover the highlights a bit, which rarely looks good on skin tones.

Also, I wouldn't call this high-key. High-key is when you match (key) the wardrobe and/or accessories to the background. All you have here is a model in a dark coat with a white backdrop.

It's really the angle that's causing problems. Even if you didn't have fall-off at the mid-section, this angle plus that coat would still make her look fat. In other news, the panel seems to be working.
