Wow, with my 400D I can get in around 45 Large JPGs outside, I don't think the 30D should be much different, unless my 400D and the 30D have different buffer systems. I'm not the kind of guy who knows everything about every cameras. *So while I become one of those gurus, thank God for the people who do*

Well it turns out that it must have been the card for whatever reason. I went and bought a SanDisk Extreame III 4gb and I'm now able to fire off about 40 pics when shooting cintinuous.
