Nature and wildlife seems to be the bulk of pictures I take. I am very new to photography and am learning a lot. These are from my first full day with my camera, taken from what I could find from my front door.

This is a nice set! You have a good handle on DOF and composition here.

Once you have a better comfort level, you might want to consider carrying the camera with you for nature walks or even strolling around town.

Thank you terri. I have been itching to take the camera and go seeking shots elsewhere. Maybe today can be my first outing.

This is the kind of place where you pretty much need to keep a camera with you at all times. There's so much you're going to want to shoot if you love nature and there's amazing architecture in the cities to capture.

I went to a state park near me a couple of days ago and snapped these pics of a wood frog and a sandhill crane. The swan is another taken at home. I love getting nice shots of nature.
