Military long distance relationship?

Anyone experience a relationship with a serviceman/woman?

No, they were always too old for me, but I did date a whole lot of military brats. Even married one. Long distance relationships all depend on the effort both people are willing to put into it.

my partner tried that. her "fiance" was stationed in Africa and wasn't sure when he would be stateside again.
it didn't work out.
things might be different if you meet someone, have a relationship, and THEN one of you gets deployed...but other than having a strong prior relationship...its tough.
