Mini twins!

I haven't made photographs a huge priority as of late. Been spending most of my time teaching and researching. Still, I've managed to get a few shots in here and there.

I was pretty excited to get to shoot these two! I think I will be borrowing them again as models in the future.

Very nice. You have done this back lighting with the sun before and are getting real good at it.

Very nice light. Just curious, which Camera/Lens did you use? The skin tones looks more Canon than Nikon, but you say you shoot with a Sony and Nikon

Thank you. My setup here was the DF with sigmas 150mm 2.8 macro.

Just one thought on the second look: the girls seem to be great at smiling, when you say "smile" (even more so in the first image) - but try to make them laugh too to get that little more natural smile. Often I ask kids to scream (and 99% love screaming ). I then shoot while they are screaming. And just when they stop (don´t tell them to stop ), they usually have that great natural smile of joy. Of course there are thousands of other ways to make them laugh - in Austria some photographers make them say Ameisenscheisseeeee (which means ants ****), but many parents don´t like that .

Wow, so nice! Beautiful little girls, you really captured their spirit and make them look angelic. Lighting is great but to me, capturing the person is the hardest part and you nailed it.

LOL! That is pretty funny. Usually I get them talking about their favorite things, to try and get a natural smile. I agree her smile looks a little forced in the second shot. This one is probably better, expression wise- if you can get past the lens flair.
