minolta AF lenses

I've got some older minolta af lenses which are supposed to be compatable with sony dslrs. Has anyone here used these lenses this way and with what results? I know of several web sites which tell about lens compatability but none of them do any actual use comparisons. Anyone know of a site that talks about actually taking pictures with these lenses?
